We did some shopping over the weekend to try and get ourselves a more summery wardrobe. With it being Labor Day weekend and summer winding down, I was hoping that there would be better sales, but that wasn't the case. However, I was able to get V a bunch of new clothes for cheap. Since Adri is the new baby, I always shop for her, but V is really the one who needs the new stuff. She doesn't have anyone to pass clothes down to her.
Saturday we spent the entire day watching football at a friend's house. I believe that all of our teams were victorious. How did your team(s) do? The wives chatted in the kitchen while the boys were out in the living room. They have a daughter that is just a day younger than V, so the girls were able to hangout with her all day.
Like I said last week, this will be my last meal planning post for a while. I plan to continue meal planning, but for the time being, I won't be posting about it. Since we'll be six timezones from our family and friends, I'd like to try to focus more on family life and the move to Hawaii.

ReplyDeleteCan I come over for dinner? Your week looks yummy!
ReplyDeleteWhat is that with the damn stores? All of them have fall stuff already and I don't know if it was me or if I just wasn't shopping {which I don't really do that often} but I didn't see any end of summer sales.
ReplyDeleteThen again I haven't checked since I've been back to California and we are still 95+ out here so ...

I haven't even tried to look for summer clearance stuff this year. I always get my hopes up and find myself disappointed lately. I've stuck to shopping at the huge kids consignment sales instead! I can completely outfit the kids for a season or two and spend under $100, for namebrand stuff! I love it!
