My only complaint is that I made way too much chili. Twice as much as was needed. Like we'll be eating chili for the rest of the week, too much. So much that I sent Hubs to go buy me another Crock Pot, which was full of chili that wasn't even touched. But hey, now I have two Crock Pots!
While he was at the store picking me up a new cooker, Hubster also grabbed some serving dishes and flowers. Ladies and gentlemen, he's a winner! Not to mention that he shares the same elevated standards as me when it comes to entertaining.
All in all, it was a good time. I really like get togethers like this because it gives the wives a chance to connect. The boys hangout all day in class, and since it's a training course, there really isn't an FRG or a need for one.

I'm so glad it turned out well! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat recipe do you use for chili?
ReplyDeleteThose deviled eggs look tasty! I'm glad everything turned out okay!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear it all worked out as you planned. I say freeze the chili in smaller portions. You can always reheat some for lunch or a quick dinner one night!
ReplyDeleteMmm ... I love me some deviled eggs and those look delicious!
