An Army veteran herself, Pamela Larson, came up with an idea that topped the two mentioned above. By using her old uniforms, Pamela created Teddys from the Troops; stuffed animals made with military uniforms. Instantly, her kids fell in love so she decided to expand and market the bears to others in an effort to make deployments a bit easier.
There are several styles of animals to choose from and ideally, the uniform would be provided by the purchaser to be used for each teddy. However, there are also a variety of military fabrics available to choose from. Discounts are available when sending your own uniform.
An amazing fact about Teddys from the Troops, is that a free teddy bear is sent each month to a wounded warrior. Pamela also does fundraising for FRGs. It's a great deal if your unit has a deployment coming up soon!

These stuffed animals are a perfect way to combine your service member's clothes with something that you can snuggle with and are great for both children and adults to feel close to their loved one. Upon his return, I hope to be able to use Hubs' multicam uniforms to have bears of our own made. Visit Teddys from the Troops to order yours! You can also visit the Teddys from the Troops Facebook page for additional deals!
