The Weekend is Over

I love four day weekends. Especially now since Hubster is in school, and they only happen on a rare occasion. One of the things that I loved about Fort Stewart, was that if he wasn't doing some sort of training, Hubs could guarantee at least one four day weekend a month. You know how August doesn't have any holidays? In Georgia it did. Haha!

Even though I love the long weekends, they always throw me off, more than the regular weekend does. Other than laundry, I don't do much cleaning, so that we're able to enjoy family time. I attempt to stay away from the blog and internet, even though I normally fail at that. Once the week starts back up again, I'm left with a jumbled mess to tackle.

I intended on starting September brand new! Try to be more organized when it came to life in general, as well as the blog. The weekend got in the way and with it already being the 3rd of the month,  it feels weird late. Either way, I'm going to give it my best shot. I have plenty of oranization sheets printed. I'll be starting with home life today, and will focus on the blog this evening or tomorrow.

I caved and subscribed to Passionfruit over the weekend,  so one of my main blogging goals will be to increase sponsorship and ensure that my sponsors are satisfied.

I hope that everyone had a great weekend! Any goals that you'd like to accomplish this week?

  1. I love a good four day!! But I am the same as you, i pretty much do nothing around the house the whole time to maximize the face time with the husband and rug rats. But then monday I mean Tuesday comes and I feel like there is not enough days in the week to clean the tornado that is my house!!

  3. I loved those four day weekends. It was nice after a deployment. But I shouldn't complain too much because Mac's work days are hours shorter than at Bragg.

  7. I need to get better organized, myself! Ive started using my day planner a LOT more -- color coding things, writing everything down, checking things off as they get done. And printing out calendars to monthly menu plan, no matter how LOOSELY it may be! Ha Ha
